Fundings 📖 Quote about esprit
The main rule that I have always observed in my studies, and the one that I believe has served me the most in acquiring some knowledge, has been that I have never spent more than a few hours per day on thoughts which occupy the imagination, and very few hours per year on those which occupy the understanding alone, and that I have given all the rest of my time to the relaxation of the senses and the rest of the mind.
